The Amazon Scrolls: A Sequel to the Xena Series |
Hi Everyone! Well, after watching " A Friend in Need", listening to the debates on the XWP lists, and writing the "Alti Returns" trilogy, I have decided to launch a new series based on Gabrielle's later scrolls. In this scenario, Xena doesn't die and, in fact, lives on for many years. Gabrielle returns to the Amazons and rules as their queen, accepting the rite of caste with the warrior as her chief counsel. Eve becomes an Amazon princess as well after her preaching for Eli is complete.
There are several themes present here such as the tie with Althanor especially after Cybelle Rogers (from the Dubois Chronicles) returns to the sacred place to assume the high priestess position. Accompanying the priestess is her niece, Deirdre Dubois, who serves as the priestess-in-waiting (ie: heir apparent).
Of course, Dave and Angie Dubois will pop in as the need arises as well....
