I run for miles on end
Enjoying my speed
Banking into every bend
Pain, I pay it no heed

For years, I limped
The thigh dragging me down
Others would’ve out wimped
I another way would’ve found

With this case
A living vegetable
Gnaws at me
I resume the pace
As long as I’m able
A solution, I can see.

It came in the strangest place
As many of my insights do
When racing against Time’s pace
And others haven’t a clue

In fountain, I stood
Cooling down from my run
When suddenly I knew
And the solution did me stun

Despite our debate
There was one I needed to tell
Despite the hour late
This idea, I had to her sell

Cuddy will gripe
That I know
She’ll give me strife
And tell me so

The others think I’m crazed
The ketomine messing with my head
They’ll be so amazed
When I’m right instead!

I reach the house in Princeton West
And to her bedroom window climb
I think I know her best
A solution, she won’t mind….

I rap on the glass
She opens the drapes and window
She lets the moment last
A view moving me so

Despite our game
I really care for her
She feels the same
Our hearts secretly do burn

I share my thought
Not sparing any detail
She believes me not
My entreaty looked to fail

She shut the window
For minutes few
Knocking my confidence low
In my juices, I did stew

I sat on her roof
Determined to wait her out
I’d call myself a goof
And myself, I begin to doubt

I brood out there
Wondering what’s gone wrong
Why Wilson’s in our hair
Disrupting our song?

He’s acting weird
My so-called friend
While I wasn’t near
Me from Cuddy, he rends

What can I do?
She used to hear
She would for me move
When I came near

Just as Patience nearly did fade
Cuddy in white returned
My night, she made
Wilson, you’re so burned!

She opened the window
She would hear me, she said
Asking for more
Our relationship wasn’t dead!

While her eyes did roll
(She couldn’t outwardly cave)
My passion took its toll
My night, it did save.

We talked away from prying eyes
On the case and us
Our feelings did rise
(With a little smut)<g>

At Dawn, we agreed
My theory to test
She from Doubt, I’d freed
Once more, mine was the nest.

Later, she treated the man
Shooting him with the drug
As predicted, he did stand
Everyone (but me) stunned

She told me later
That Wilson said to lie
“Don’t tell,” said the baiter
Playing with us games of mind

No matter what he dreams
We don’t care
Reality just him creamed
While we’re walking on air…..
